Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Agreement”) applies to Payper Inc. and its group of companies (“We”, “Us”, or “Payper”) and all Website visitors, Payper Users, and/or Customers of Payper Users (“You” or “User”). If you are a Customer of a Payper User (“Customer”), your agreement with the relevant Payper User will explain how the Payper User shares your information with Payper.

This Privacy Policy governs the gathering, use, and disclosure of Data, including, but not limited to, the accessing, participation, and/or utilization of Payper Services (“Services”) and/or Websites (“Websites”). By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you expressly consent to the use of your Data in accordance with this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you are requested to not provide any Personal Data to Payper, and to not register for Payper Services.

The purpose of this document is to inform you about the way(s) in which we Process your Personal Data as Data Controllers, including references to which Data we Process, how, why, for how long, and your rights as a Data Subject.

Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your Personal Data.

Data Controller – any person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Data;

Data Subjects – any natural person whose Personal Data is processed by a controller or processor;

Processing / Processing of Personal Data – any operation and/or sequence or group of operations which is taken in regard to Personal Data – whether it occurs by automatic or manual means – and which includes the recording, collection, organization, storage, retrieval, use and/or disclosure by transmission, or which otherwise makes information available, or which results in the blocking, destruction or erasure of such Data;

You provide us with Personal Data when you inquire about or apply for use of our Services, by filling in forms on our Website or on the websites of merchants we provide Services to, by corresponding with us by phone, email, or other means of communication, and by using our Services.

We may use your Personal Data to provide you with answers to your inquiries and/or to evaluate your application for a merchant or partner account. As such, this Personal Data is used to establish or perform our (prospective) contract with you and allows us to follow up with you as well as contact you in the interest of conducting business with you and to manage our internal administration. It is also used to conduct marketing research with the purpose of improving our products and Services to be able to offer our tailored Services.

Additionally, we may collect information about you through other means, such as when we process your IP address, Google Analytics ID, internet browser and device type, location data and your use of our Website, including which pages you visited, how you arrived at our Website and the length of your visit. We may use this Data to make sure our website works properly, to be able to deliver you its content, for DDOS mitigation on our Website, improving the performance of our Website and performing statistical analyses for optimizing the content on our Website, and other reasons. We may also use this information to provide you with personal offers tailored to your needs and to customize what we show you to your preferences.

If you wish to apply for or use our Services, we will collect the Personal Data necessary to establish and perform a commercial agreement with you, including your contact information, address, tax and business details, and banking information. We may use this information to set up our products and Services for you, and to provide you with support during the onboarding process, integration, and installation. In addition, we may use your information for the purpose of managing our internal administration and complying with our legal obligations. We may also record Data about your use of our Services, including your login credentials, inquiries, comments, and complaints in relation to our business relationship.

We will collect information about you to comply with national and international laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering (AML) and regarding crime or financing terrorism processes. We use this Personal Data to ensure the legality and integrity of our operations, by aiming to identify and prevent illegal conduct and to comply with our legal know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.


We will not share your Personal Data except as described in this Policy.

We may disclose your Personal Data to third parties so that they may provide you with the products and Services we offer, including but not limited to financial service providers, credit reference agencies, banks, and other financial institutions. We may also share information with third parties to prevent crime, reduce risk, as required by law, when we determine it is appropriate to do so, in response to legal process, and/or to protect the rights and/or property of Payper, our customers, and/or others. We may also share information with your legal agent or representative, including a person with a valid power of attorney, or a person appointed by the appropriate government body or court. Third parties are subject to their own applicable privacy policies which you may be able to review upon a request to that third party.


We are committed to securing your Personal Data and have therefore taken steps to prevent unauthorized access to your Data. We have put in place a range of technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect from you and Process.

Every transfer of Personal Data from you to us or from us to other parties is protected by a data processing agreement containing Standard Contractual Clauses. If you want to receive more information about the safeguards we employ, you can contact us using the details on our Website.

Even with these measures in place, no Data transfer or storage system is absolutely secure, and we do not guarantee that unauthorized access will not take place. You are also required to take all steps necessary to safeguard your Personal Data including login credentials and other information. Payper is not responsible for any breaches or actions caused by a User inadvertently or intentionally sharing, leaking, or otherwise mishandling information. If you believe that there has been a breach of security, please contact us immediately.


You are entitled to object to us Processing your Personal Data. You may also ask for an overview and/or copy of your information, to correct or delete certain Data, and/or to restrict Processing of your Personal Data. You may also ask us to share or transfer your information, where technically feasible and commercially reasonable, to other organizations that have sufficient data and privacy policies in place to protect your Data. In some cases, while we may have obtained your consent to Process your Personal Data, you can withdraw this consent.

We shall not delete Data which we are required by law to keep, or that which is held due to a business agreement with you. Similarly, access to your Personal Data may be refused if making the information available would reveal Personal Data about another person or entity, or if we are legally prevented from disclosing such information. We do not permit minors under the age of 18 or anyone under the legal age of majority in their applicable jurisdiction to access or use our Services. We request that they not provide us with their Personal Data.

In order to exercise your rights, you may be required to sufficiently verify your identity at our discretion by providing government issued identification and/or verification of your email address and/or phone number.


We use cookies and similar techniques, such as tags/beacons and scripts, which are small text files stored on your device. If Payper enters into or intends to initiate a merger, reorganization, sale, alteration of fundamental business structure, or other transaction, we may share Personal Data with third parties in connection to such a transaction.
